UK Airport - Airside Solar Farm

The project saw the construction of a 6.85MWp solar farm, with the installation of approx. 13,000 solar PV modules.

The works have required construction of two new substation foundations along with retaining structures to accommodate the new buildings. The project has also required infrastructure works of approx 2km of trenching for cabling and earthing.

There’s been many challenges working in a sensitive environment but the team has collaborated well with all stakeholders to ensure the project was a success.
